Shitty looking day after rollcall, didn't know if the sky was going to open up and pour down on us or clear up and give up a decent day.
Responded to an apartment fire right outta rollcall and relieved a midnight unit so they could go home. Really nothing much for us to do except block the streets so the hose draggers can do what they do best, fight fires. They got it knocked down pretty quickly and were soon dragging hose back to the Quint, folded and loaded up and went back to the house.
A few non important calls and it was over. Good day.......
