As I scroll on Facebook today I see a lot of posts about Trooper Walker. When one of us gets hurt or killed we band together as a family and close ranks as we should. We remember the good times, the bad times, we tell stories and we try and come to grips as to what happened to one of our own. We hug each other and cry and we promise to carry on the fight until it is our turn to be called to Heaven. And we mourn over our loss.
Well I'm not mourning anymore when one of us gets called to Heaven. I am celebrating the life of my brother or sister who so unselflessly answered the call to duty and stood there and fought the good fight. Trooper Walker served the Commonwealth for 38 years and each and every day of that 38 years HE MADE A DIFFERENCE.
I challenge each and every one of you who takes the time to read what I post to go out and make a difference every day. I don't care if it just smiling and saying hello to a total stranger, just go out and MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Celebrate Trooper Walker's life and carry on his way of Policing.
